The Garden Room hosts a fantastic view over the private garden. With French doors leading out to on to a small terrace with a cascading staircase, it is ideal for those special photographs.
The Canavron Room
The Canavron Room is a smaller room, which is the perfect choice for a more intimate celebration with the closest of friends and relatives.
The Craven Room
The Craven room is our smallest room and again is ideal for those more intimate and romantic occasions with those closest to you by your side.
**The Garden and Canavron Rooms can be combined to increase the room size more details available on request.

The Chequers Hotel, with so much character and charm, boasts quality and flexibility which makes it the perfect location for your ceremony to take place.
The hotel holds a civil ceremony licenses which gives permission to hold ceremonies in all three of our function rooms so is perfect for a large celebration or a more intimate occasion.
If you do wish to hold your ceremony at the hotel, you must telephone the Superintendent Registrar on 01635 279230 to check availability of the Registrars.

If they are not already committed they will be happy to take a booking from you.
Once you have contacted the Superintendent Registrar we will be happy to confirm the room is booked for the marriage ceremony. Please note that there will be a room hire charge to hold your ceremony within the hotel. For further information please contact the hotel.
By law only the Superintendent Registrar can book your ceremony and without two Registrars your special day can not take place.

We would be delighted to then book you an appointment to view the hotel and to discuss further your details for your special day.
If you are satisfied, we could hold your booking provisionally until receipt of the terms and conditions and a non refundable deposit of £1000.
Once your booking has been confirmed, we will then work closely together to ensure all of your special requirements are seen to and that you can rest assure that everything has been taken care of.
