WELCOME TO
HIGHFIELD HOUSE HOTEL, Southampton
Set in the leafy suburbs of Highfield, a highly desirable area of Southampton, the red brick exterior of Highfield House Hotel blends seamlessly with the family homes and gardens of this residential street. Since the departure of RMS Titanic from the White Star Line dock on 10th April 1912, Southampton will always be linked with the ill-fated liner. Highfield House Hotel was once owned by local businessman Henry Hodges who had bought first-class passage and perished, his being one of the few bodies to ever be retrieved.
The recently completed £1.5 million refurbishment will guarantee that Highfield House Hotel continues to offer you not only a safe and quiet location to focus but also a consistently comfortable environment with local flavour. Although situated in a residential area, the hotel is just over two miles from Southampton City Centre, three miles from the M3 and within walking distance of Southampton University, 326 acres of Common and a short drive from Southampton Airport.
