The Maids Head Hotel has a total of 84 bedrooms including standard twin and double rooms, as well as executive rooms, feature rooms, suites and rooms ideal for family stays. The bedrooms are furnished in a warm welcoming style and offer a comfortable and well-equipped retreat at the end of the day.

We have contemporary rooms and traditionally decorated bedrooms with individual charm and character.All have en suite bath or shower facilities, duvets, satellite TV, trouser press, hair dryer and hospitality tray with further refreshments available throughout the day or night from Room Service.

Our character rooms are not only beautifully decorated but have been host to influential characters such as Queen Elizabeth I, The Black Prince, Catherine of Aragon, and are visited by popular present day celebrities and musicians.

Queen Elizabeth Suite
Rumoured to have been Queen Elizabeth I bedroom when she visited the city in 1587. The Suite has a spacious lounge with comfortable seating so you can relax during your stay. The room is located in the original part of the Maids Head Hotel and has solid exposed beams throughout the Lounge and Bedroom, Original feature headboard and furniture from 16th Century add to the character of the room. Our extra tall guests may find the beams in this room a challenge.

Cathedral Suite
The Cathedral Suite has a separate lounge complete with dining area so you can relax or entertain guests in the evening. The lounge is flooded with natural daylight from four original sash windows keeping it bright throughout the day. A feature fireplace in the lounge and exposed beams throughout the Lounge and Bedroom add to the character and individuality of this room. A large desk in the bedroom allows you to work comfortably if you need to during your stay.

The Ranworth Suite
A spacious bedroom with a luxurious king size contempory four-poster bed. There is a comfortable sofa area that provides a quiet space if you wish to entertain or simply relax in your suite. A feature fireplace and exposed beams add to the character and individuality of this room. A large desk is also provided in the bedroom.

An oriental antique carved four-poster bed is the focal point in this room which has a very special, tranquil feel with a relaxing seating area overlooking the Tombland area of the city. The room is flooded with natural daylight from two large original sash windows and in the evening the gentle glow from the chandelier lights the room. A large desk space is available in the bedroom.
