Whether you wish to have a small quiet, intimate day or a large traditional gathering, we can help you plan your day to meet your individual requirements. We have a number of suites that can be used for ceremonies and receptions.

Garden Suite

The suite has a private bar, reception lounge with stage and dance-floor. The suite has access to the lawn area where reception drinks can be taken weather permitting. The suite will accommodate up to 200 guests for a sit down reception and 250 for an evening reception.

Clifton Suite

The suite is a light and airy room, again with a self contained bar and dance-floor. The suite can accommodate up 70 for a sit down reception and 100 for an evening reception.

Panelled Room

The Panelled Room is located in the Restaurant area of the hotel and dates back to 1898. Once part of the original building, the room has been restored to its former glory. This suite is ideal for the smaller gathering and can accommodate up to 30 guests for a sit down reception.

For guests looking for a more informal choice, we have the Oak Room, again located within the Restaurant, and seating up to 60 guests for a sit down reception or gathering.

Wedding Ceremonies

Redwood Hotel & Country Club is licensed to hold both Civil Marriage Ceremonies and Same Gender Commitment Ceremonies on the premises.

Ceremonies for up to 200 guests can be conducted and can take place 7 days a week. The latest time a ceremony can take place at the hotel is 5.00pm.

To arrange the ceremony, the Bride & Groom must contact the Superintendent Registrar for the District directly, as they need to attend and conduct the ceremony. Any fees for this must be paid directly to the Registrar.
