As over half of our hotels are listed buildings, we're taking the utmost care to be sympathetic to their individuality during our extensive refurbishment programme in 2007/08. Of course, you'll be surrounded by the kind of traditional beauty and classic standards that you'd expect, but you'll find this blends seamlessly with those modern essentials that we just can't do without these days - such as stylish, practical bathrooms, flat screen TVs, high-speed Internet access and more. With an investment in the refurbishment of all our hotels, we are committed to bringing all of our bedrooms up to a common standard by the summer of 2008.

We operate over 30 three and four-star hotels across the UK - enough to offer you a broad range of experiences across Britain. We want every one of our hotels to be somewhere that you'd like to stay
because it's worth visiting in its own right, and we will resist growing into a huge brand that hides poor
service behind a big logo. You can expect both a unique experience and to be treated as an individual at all times, because all of our General Managers are empowered to run and host their hotel their way, but to our high standards.
